The Advantages Of Africa Social Network

By Jayne Rutledge

In the past few decades the technology revolution has really taken off. Just a generation ago most people had little more that a family phone in their house. Today people have i phones, lap tops and many other technological devices that make it very easy to stay up to the moment with everyone around them. The impact of this has been felt even more strongly in places that have not traditionally had access to communication devices. Africa social network has really changed how people interact with each other and the rest of the world.

The African countries are a very diverse group. From Egypt in the north to South Africa in the south, this amazing continent is home to many different groups and cultures. Staying connected is a wonderful experience that is very new to many people. Poverty has plagued the country for generations and getting access to the latest technology is a life changing experience.

Home computers are now much more common. As soon as people have access to a computer or other mobile device they typically set up at least one social media account. This enables them to share news and information with family and friends not only in their own area, but around the world. They often use this as a primary means to establish new friendships and learn about what is happening in distant lands.

One of the best uses for the new social media is helping those who move away to stay in touch with home. People all over the world can log on to their computers and immediately check in with friends and family from back home. Having a network of contacts is the best way to get on in a new place. They can help the newcomers find a house, job and become established in their new community.

Social networks are also perfect for spreading the latest medical information. Many people in remote African regions lack essential knowledge that could help to keep them safe. Logging on to a network and getting some factual help has already helped to save lives.

There have already been many successful examples of people in western nations appealing via media for much needed medical and educational supplies. Everything from knitted hats for new born babies to books for a classroom are donated, packed and shipped to communities in Africa where they are most needed.

Educational help is also being supplied through media sites. Teachers in remote locations are receiving help like never before. They can access lesson plans, teaching tips and class room strategies. All this really help to compensate for the lack of formal training that many of the teachers have to deal with.

The changes have been slow in many places, but are finally beginning to gain momentum. As technology reaches everywhere in the continent no one wants to be left behind. People who previously had not way of contact with the rest of the world suddenly find that the world has arrived on their doorstep. Africa social network sites have brought many benefits to countless thousands of residents in towns and villages from Morocco to Mozambique.
