Other earth moving activities include volcanic actions, collision, submission and separation of tectonic plates etc. Humans can induce tremors from building large water dams, trains movement and military actions such as atomic bomb detonations. This anthropogenic shakes are less destructive as the magnitude and intensity is low.

Some of personal safety measure include; having enough food and medical stock for survival, teaching your family which rooms are safe to hide, keeping heavy objects low, store flammable objects from potential ignition etc. During the earthquake one should stop driving and park the vehicle, stay away from building, glass, under trees and power lines. After earthquake go humanitarian by helping the injured, switch off naked wires and wait until the buildings is accessed to be safe.

The kit should be carefully stored and if possible be made from strong plastic to endure destruction and avoid the content being damaged by water in case of floods. The location for its storage should be notified to everyone and be very assessable.

The content includes medical supply; bandage and strips, cotton-tipped swabs adhesive tape roll etc. Other accessories include soaps, scissors, needles, instruction book among other.
