The conditions of the summer can be partially controlled by tinting of windows. This is because tinting of windows makes them reflective which in turn reflects the heat rays that come along with the summer sun. This makes the house cooler as compared to normal untinted houses.

Tinting of windows has an advantage to on the economic side of life this is because it reduces the amount of electricity that would have to be used to heat up the house during the cold weather and cool down the house during the hot weather this is mainly due to the amount of energy retained and regulated by the tints thus it ensures a n equilibrium heat level.

One of the disadvantages of tinting the home windows is the fact that the process of tinting is expensive. The procedure requires a huge initial amount of capital that a majority of the households cannot afford or are not willing to invest in.

Another mishap of tinting is the fact that tints are not functional at night this is because in most cases there tends to be more light on the inside of the house than on the outside of the house thus making it not effective.
