There are some which are placed as multiple circlets through the hair like rings. The greatest factor is really how the lady decides to style her hair.

The typical place to put them is at the front of the head at the hairline. This often is done when brides will pull back long hair. The tiara ends up framing the women's hair line with lighting from gemstones in it. Lately many women have tried putting highlights into their hair to aid drawing greater attention to it.

Some women prefer wearing them on the top of their hair leaning either back or forward. This is a basic classic look with its roots based in tribal culture. If you plan to experiment like this, always speak with a good stylist for different ideas for your hair.

Another overlooked classic style that is coming back is using a thin semi flexible tiara as a bun wrapper. Sometimes a hidden rubber grip could be used that stops them from sliding out of place. If you try to attempt this, only use one with a noticeably thin feet that make them pin down easier.

The most common way to wear one is with the hair down with the tiara in front so it looks like a small crown. This way they can pull their hair straight back, use braids or simply comb it down straight. Remember though, they are not like a headband. Put it on so it feels comfortable and push each end down and in just a little.
